 Propane injection
so, after some thought and practical thinking.....Nitrous is good and all but not so money practical.....
Propane injection is my new tinkering project.....it's a fuel so unlike Nitrous that's an oxygen carrier....excessive propane will only flood the the motor and make poorer power...untill higher efficiency is reached combined with the existing carb/gas setup.....Bonus effects of cooling and extra combustibles in the chamber should equal a nice power gain.
Utility propane cannister commonly found for torch use...high pressure hose...on off electric valve...and some creative thinking....low pressure hoses.
Yes, the winter is long and cabin fever may be setting in..LOL

 Re: Propane injection
Propane makes a decent refrigerant agent as well. So be careful on orifice size and pressures to prevent icing for the application. You had already mentioned this, just reiterating the necessities on the cooling and possible difficulties related to propane.

 Re: Propane injection
it's going to be a drag racing application so mainly short pulls....but deff a factor to be aware of.
Was going to be getting many of the components today but got storm-stayed for the day....keep ya's posted!

 Re: Propane injection
that's an interesting idea, I can't say I've ever heard of anyone with that setup.

 Re: Propane injection
bottle and valve acquired, solenoid and braided line ordered.....just need to com up with a simplistic way to introduce air when the solenoid is triggered....might use a check valve of some sort....or dual solenoids....or just tune the bike as lean as possible and hope for the best to see where it gets me.....
